Monroe’s zinc plating process does more than simply protect a metal part; it does so in an environmentally responsible way! Staying in harmony with the environment has been one of our greatest achievements. You could even say that our plating processes help us to protect the environment!

How can we make such a claim? Our state-of-the-art, $300,000 Memtek wastewater treatment system not only purifies city water prior to processing; it also returns water to the environment cleaner than the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) mandates! The water leaving our plant is actually cleaner than the water entering our plant, three times cleaner than the limit set by Monroe County Pure Waters! Our efforts were recognized by New York State, and we were presented with the New York State Industry Award for Economic Growth through Pollution Prevention.
